Seen. Known. Remembered.

Warrior Stories are written by the families and friends who knew them best, and help turn remembrance into critical research for ocular melanoma.

Warrior Stories

Ocular melanoma has impacted us all.But this rare cancer doesn't define an individual.

The hardest chapters of a life do not define it. A person is the love they gave, the family they shaped, and the lives they touched.

For the newly diagnosed

The people who came before can help the next patient.

Families wrote these pages so that others would not walk the same road alone. We gathered what they most wanted a newly diagnosed patient to know, alongside the Foundation's resources.

Write

Tell us about them

Send a remembrance in your own words or from an obituary, with photographs, video, voice recordings, favorite sayings. We build the page with you in one to three business days.

A permanent address

Each Warrior Story has its own link on omlegacy.org for an obituary, a program, or a message to friends. Pages stay up, and stay yours.

Give

Gifts in their name

Friends and family can give in lieu of flowers. Every gift is receipted, the family receives a donor list to thank people personally, and the funds go to eye cancer research.

Remembrance into progress

Ocular melanoma is rare. Research funding is rarer.

Together let's see a cure.

About 2,000 adults are diagnosed in the United States each year, and treatments for metastatic disease are still few. Every gift made here goes to the Ocular Melanoma Foundation's research and patient programs, in the name of someone who fought this disease.
